Upcoming Roofing & Industry Related Conventions

CONSTRUCT2008 - Construction Specifications Institute ConventionThis June is a big month for conventions. Four roofing/industry related conventions will be taking place. The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI); the Western States Roofing Contractors Association (WSRCA); Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors Association Inc. (FRSA); and Carolinas Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association Inc. (CRSMCA) each will host their respective conventions that month. Each event will feature educational seminars and distributor exhibits.


There will undoubtedly be more conventions this summer. Check with your respective local, state or regional roofing and industry related associations for details.

The June Conventions are as follows:

CONSTRUCT2008 will be held in conjunction with the CSI Annual Convention in Las Vegas June 2-6.
This professional-development convention offers the latest in industry technology, the newest products and most up-to-date solutions for industrial, commercial and institutional construction professionals, architects, engineers, general contractors, commercial developers, facility managers and specifiers.

The following week in Las Vegas, the WSRCA sponsored Western Roofing Expo 2008 will be held June 8-11. Attendees will have opportunities to attend educational seminars, explore the exhibit hall and participate in sporting events. In addition, on June 11th, the RCI’s Summer Conference for continuing educational credits will again be scheduled, as well as TRI’s Tile Installer Certificiation Program.

FRSA’s 86th Annual Convention and Southeast Roofing & Sheet Metal Spectacular Trade Show will be held June 18-21 in Orlando, Fla. Women’s program sessions and kids’ and teens’ program sessions are scheduled in addition to the educational and exhibit hall opportunities.

The CRSMCA 65th Annual Meeting and Convention will be held June 26-29 in Myrtle Beach, S.C. This event provides opportunities for attendees to participate in sporting and family-friendly events, as well as meetings and educational events.
